Find information regarding installing
and correctly fitting your product by selecting the below.
ATTENTION: Please read instructions thoroughly before fitting. Your MHC warranty does not cover incorrect fitting.
How to Fit
Step 1: Remove existing spoiler
You will need to remove any spoilers already installed on your car. This can be done using a heat gun to loosen the adhesive holding it on. Constantly move your heat gun to prevent concentration of the heat, which could damage paint. Use heat gun at own risk.
Step 2: Clean the surface with Glue and Tar remover
You must ensure that the surface is completely clear of any residue from the previous adhesive, road grime or polish before adhering the new spoiler. Use Glue and Tar remover to ensure the cleanliness of the surface. Failure to clean the surface before adhesion could weaken the bond between the MHC Spoiler and the car.
Step 3: Perform a dry fit/ test fit
Before removing the facing tape on your MHC Spoiler, position it on your boot lid to understand the correct location for fitting.
Step 4: Remove backing tape and position spoiler
Remove the backing tape and move the spoiler into position. Then push firmly on the spoiler to ensure a secure fit.
Step 5: Regularly apply pressure
We recommend applying pressure regularly over a 24 hour period to make sure spoiler is securely fitted to the car.
We recommend only using shampoos and light wax/polishes on our product as any acid products could cause chemical reactions, resulting in damage to the finish.
